Things that drive me mad!

Every day life has lots of opportunities for making one see red. Here are just a few of mine!

After many years of ironing shirts my trusty old iron failed so I was forced to buy a new one. Upon plugging it in I discovered how miserly the makers of the new one was as the flex was 26 inches shorter that the old one! Infact I couldn't even reach the collar now with a shorter cord. The ironing board was as close to the wall socket as possible but I had to find an extension to get the job done! All this trouble for the sake of a couple of feet, the cheapskates!

The biggest potential of anoying things often happen through driving my car, usually in town and cities. Maybe it's just me being a bad or impatient driver but traffic lights especially in the city of Sheffield drive me crazy. The y seem to be set to turn to red just as you approach them. Yes they really do!!! It could be that someone is sat in a control tower watching his dozen monitors for me to approach the city. He knows I have to drive through 63 sets of lights to get to my partners house at the other side of town. He has noticed me driving ever more quickly in case the lights change to red. Then he presses the button and he gets me. I have to stop at the light. No one crosses from either direction, so why did I have to stop mid flow in my journey. All you need is 30 seconds per traffic light and you have magically added half an hour to your drive time! - Ah well...
